Objective Statement

As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, my planning and organizing abilities will be put to use as I meet deadlines and milestones while being flexible to handle changes as they occur. My work will be quality and client focused to ensure repeat business.

 

Selected Personal Achievements

  • Pump seal selection by client was very expensive because of excessive instrumentation required due to H2S concentrations and by removing some of this instrumentation for all seals resulted in a net savings of $1,200,000.
  • Based on API Codes applied to client requirements, selected a submersible pump over a turbine pump resulting in a net savings of $300,000.
  • Standardized pump seals for spare parts resulting in a 10% - 15% savings for the plant.
  • Met client milestones by completing Technical Bid Evaluations, datasheets, Request for Quotation packages and Purchase Orders on schedule resulting in a savings to client by not having to pay for additional overtime and additional engineering support, and meeting the construction schedule.
  • Developed a 23,000 square foot garden ministry that resulted in:

o        Providing fresh vegetables to local community (helping needy families reduce their food bill).

o        Supplementing Loaves & Fishes Soup Kitchen (serves 200 meals/day) monthly with a variety of produce.

o        Assisting the E. Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry Food Bank with produce from the garden from time to time.
