SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Description

Looking for change? One of our top clients located here in Houston is looking for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Responsibilities will also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Required Experience:

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
3+ years of financial reporting experience.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
Minimal travel required. (less than 10%).

Employment Salary From: 60k to 85k

This Job Requires the Following Skills:

Essential Duties:

Address A/P and A/R questions and problems with job costing.
Correct inventory costing/pricing from A/P invoices.
Handle reclassifications and corrections to general ledger accounts.
Perform business line summary analysis.
Responsible for outgoing/incoming inter-company invoices.
Balance inter-company accounts at month-end.
Assist external consultants with SOX documentation, testing, and remediation.
