Description

Smith Information Systems is looking for key TM1 consultants to become involved with customer in setting up and implementing Financial or Operational Performance Management systems using TM1 suite of tools.

IT Skills:
Experience with Cognos TM1.
Experienced with TM1 server maintenance, upgrades, environment setup. Designing cubes and dimensions.
Experience with TM1 Architect, TM1 Perspective, Turbo Integrator processes and rules.
Extensive hands on OLAP & BI experience.
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Integration, Analysis and Reporting technology skills using Microsoft, Oracle or IBM suite of tools.
RDBMS - Dimensional modeling, relational modeling and SQL skills.

Job Requirements

Experience

At least 2 years experience using TM1

At least 3 years experience in OLAP and BI

At least 3 years experience in either Finance or Operations

Skills

Business Skills:

3+ years practical experience in either Finance or Operations.
BPM Process - Financial Reporting, Sales Reporting, Monthly accounting close, budgeting, forecasting, planning, dashboards.
Strong understanding of business processes and organizational behavior

Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent understanding of customer concerns
Can excel in either a team-oriented or individual contributor role
