What better place to celebrate the entreprenuerial spirit of Houston than Jax Grill! This morning, with over 100 attendees, The Reveille Club hosted the 4th annual Houston Aggie 100 breakfast. Industries from financial planning, environmental engineering, recruiting, to commercial contracting, and several others were represented today.
Delivering the keynote speech was CNVE Director Richard Scruggs. Richard spoke of the Center for New Ventures and Entreprenuership's work with students, faculty, and busineses. There are several programs that the CNVE uses to promote entreprenuership. The Aggie 100 is among the most fun of their programs. It recognizes the top 100 Aggie owned businesses in the world. The criteria is based on an average of their growth for the past 2 yrs of income. Several companies have even been on the list for all 4 yrs of existence.
After Richard Scruggs talk, the meeting ended with a boisterous Aggie "Beat The Hell Outta T.U."
